MRS. DALLOWAY

With her groundbreaking style and themes, Virginia Woolf forever changed the Western literary landscape. She brought complex subjects such as time, trauma, sexuality, and gender roles to the forefront in an unprecedented way, resulting in masterpieces like To the Lighthouse, Orlando, The Years, and Mrs. Dalloway. The latter was published exactly one hundred years ago this May, making it the perfect moment to shine a light on the writer and her legacy.

Expert and admirer Kristien Hemmerechts delves into Woolf’s eventful life and work. Following this, actress Katelijne Damen takes us back to early 20th-century England with a selection of Woolf’s texts.
